We know planning a camping trip comes with lots of questions, so we’ve put together some helpful answers about Chillin on the Flat. From booking and amenities to pets, campfires, and nearby activities, here’s everything you need to know before your stay.
  • What types of camping do you offer?
    We have full hookup RV sites, grassy tent areas, and two cozy tiny cabins (sleeping 2–3 guests).
  • Do you have bathrooms or showers?
    A restroom and shower house are coming soon! Until then, all sites have fire pits and picnic tables.
  • Are pets allowed?
    Yes! Pets are welcome but must stay leashed, cleaned up after, and not left unattended.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you cancel less than 5 days before arrival, there is a $50 cancellation fee. Holiday weekends require 8 days’ notice.
  • Is the campground family-friendly?
    Yes! Families, solo travelers, and groups are all welcome. While we don’t currently have a playground, there are lots of outdoor adventures nearby.
  • What can we do nearby?
    We’re just minutes from Cave Run Lake and the Daniel Boone National Forest — perfect for hiking, fishing, boating, and exploring.
